Although lethal to certain insect species, Bt toxin applied as an insecticide or consumed with GMO food crops is considered nontoxic to humans and other mammals because they lack the digestive enzymes needed to activate the Bt protein crystals.
This product is a type of crystal-producing Bacillus including many varieties. It can be used to control various pests of the order Orthoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera, especially Lepidoptera.
Bacillus thuringiensis can produce two major toxoids: endotoxin (ie parasporal crystals) and exotoxin (α, β, and γ exotoxin). Parasporal crystals are the main toxins.
In the basic gastrointestinal tract of insects, the intestine can be paralyzed within minutes, the insects stop feeding, and quickly destroy the intestinal lining, causing the vegetative cells of the bacteria to easily invade and penetrate the intestinal lining. Hemolymph, eventually insects die from starvation and sepsis.
Exotoxin has a slow effect, and it has obvious effects during molting and metamorphosis. These two periods are the peak periods of RNA synthesis. Exotoxin can inhibit DNA-dependent RNA polymerase.
The effect of this drug is slow, and the effect can only be seen in about 2 days after the pest is fed, and the effective period is about 1 day, so it should be used 2 ~ 3 days earlier than conventional chemical agents, and the effect is better in the early age of the pest.
Application Rate: use 250-500 gram per acre depending on pest levels. General recommended rate is 500 gram per acre.
Repeat applications every 7-14 days depending on plant growth rate, moth activity and rainfall after application.
For optimal results, use at least 20 gallons of water per acre for ground applications. For aerial applications use at least 3 gallons of water per acre.

Control of Lepidoptera pests larvae generally in the pest eggs before the incubation period in time medication, the best control effect.
Apply the product in the morning or a cloudy day. Reapply the product if it is raining within 6 hours after application.

This product is toxic to bees and silkworms. During the application, the effects on the surrounding bee colonies, flowering plants during flowering, near the silkworm chamber and mulberry gardens should be avoided; the application should be far from the aquaculture area, and it is forbidden to wash and apply the water in river ponds and other water appliance.
Wear protective clothing and gloves when using this product to avoid inhaling the liquid medicine. Do not eat or drink during application. Wash hands and face immediately after application.
Used containers should be disposed of properly, not for other purposes, and should not be discarded.
